[AUG Australia] Refer a Friend Program – Terms and Conditions

Promotion Period

Monday, 19 May 2025 – Wednesday, 31 December 2025

1. This campaign is only applicable to International Students, not an Australian citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident;
2. This campaign is only applicable for applications & acceptances for July 2025, October 2025 and February 2026 intakes are eligible for the Refer a Friend Campaign Incentives;
3. Applications must be submitted before 31 December 2025;
4. For the Referrer to be eligible for A$100 Gift Card:
   1. Referrers should only refer individuals whom they personally know and should not exploit personal information to make referrals to AUG or to send unsolicited electronic messages;
   2. Referrers must accurately and completely fill out the referral form using the AUG Australia Refer a Friend Campaign’s registration link to be eligible for a benefit;
   3. Ensure that the referred friend submits a complete application AND receive an offer letter from the same application;
   4. If the referred friend already has a current application and/or offer from AUG, both referrer and referred friend/student will not be eligible. The applicant must be a new student;
   5. Incentive will only be given per applicant, not per application. For example, if referrer’s friend applies for University A, he/she will only bring one $100 Gift Card. If the friend applies for University A, B, and C, then it will still only bring one $100 Gift Card;
   6. The referrer will only receive the $100 Gift Card upon the referred friend/student accepting the offer letter and after Census Date of the commencing intake;
   7. The referrers do not necessarily have to physically bring your friend/student to AUG. Referred friend/student simply need to let us know the full name, and the referred friend/student will also have to mention the name of the referrer;
   8. As a Referrer, you will receive benefits via direct deposit to your bank account after the referred friend has enrolled and the institution’s census date has passed.
5. For the Referee to be eligible for A$100 Gift Card, the Referee must:
   1. The referee must be in Australia;
   2. Accept the offer letter for the application which was applied via AUG;
   3. The applied course must be at least 12 months and above in duration;
   4. The applied course study level has to be either Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor, and Masters level only. Certificate III/IV and Foundation courses are eligible only if packaged duration reaches 12 months and above;
   5. Incentive will only be given per applicant, not per application. For example, if referred student applies for University A, he/she will only bring one $100 Gift Card. If referred student applies for University A, B, and C, then it will still only bring one $100 Gift Card;
   6. The referred student will only be issued the $100 Gift Card upon accepting the offer letter and after Census Date of the commencing intake;
   7. The referred friend/student does not necessarily have to be physically accompanied by referrer to AUG. The referred friend/student will have to mention that they are referred by the referrer;
   8. It is not the responsibility of any AUG staff to ask each student/friend if they were referred by the referrer.
6. If both students come together at the same time to refer each other and applied same time, both will only be entitled for $100 Gift Card each;
7. AUG retains the right to decline any prospective student referred to AUG by the Referrer;
8. AUG shall have the final decision and reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions without prior notice. Any further correspondence shall not be entertaining.

Publication of Photos, Videos and Other Identifying Materials

AUG may be taking photos, videos, sound recordings or other materials that may identify you during our office operations and activities. AUG will own the copyright to these materials and may use them in our publications and social media of which the public may have access to them. Please notify any of our AUG staff if you do not consent to this.
